Steps for Correct Posture in Durham NC

  1. Your elbows should be in a 90 degree position from floor.
  2. Monitor distance should be 20-28 inches from your face.
  3. Top of monitor should be eye level at a 10-20 degree upwards tilt.
  4. Your wrists lay flat at 180 degrees of your forearm for keyboard and mouse. If not you can buy keyboard pad or mouse pad.
  5. Wear comfortable shoes.
  6. Purchase an Anti-fatigue Mat to stand on.
  7. Alternate between sitting and standing
  8. If you have a hard time maintaining good posture while standing, slide your desk to a near wall and stand with your heels, whole back, and head against wall while you work.
